A Message from Our
Early Childhood Director

Thank you for your interest in Peace Lutheran Preschool. The early childhood years are an exciting time of growth and development. It is our mission to provide a Christian educational program appropriate to the developmental needs of young children. At Peace Lutheran Preschool, we offer a well-planned program with a variety of learning experiences to develop young minds and bodies. Children are exposed to a variety of activities in science, literacy, language, social development, art, music, religion, and large motor skills. These experiences provide a pleasant and enjoyable approach to discovery and creativity. Our program supports emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development. We provide an engaging environment that nurtures children, supports families, and creates a community that inspires lifelong learners.

We offer programs for 2 year-old and parent/caregiver, 3s, 4s, and Pre-Kindergarten.

Panther Cubs [2s] provides opportunities for child and parent to learn and grow through a variety of activities. Each weekly session offers fun, engaging opportunities to share stories, songs, finger-plays, gross motor play, music and movement, dramatic play, Jesus time, art, and sensory fun.

3s program is designed to set your child up for future academic, emotional, and social success. This is an opportunity to learn to share, follow instructions, and gain the foundation for learning. We focus on colors, shapes, letter recognition, fine motor development, and social skills.

4s program will provide children with opportunities to explore science, literacy, math, art, music and gross motor activities. Through a variety of child-directed play, and teacher-directed activities, children will develop social, emotional, and behavior skills. Our well-planned curriculum will provide classroom experiences to engage children’s curiosity for discovery and learning.

Pre-Kindergarten [Young 5s] program is designed to support young students who may not be age eligible, socially ready, or academically ready for a traditional kindergarten program. We implement a curriculum based on kindergarten standards modified to meet the academic, social, emotional, physical, language, cognitive, and spiritual needs of the child. This is a great transitional program into full day kindergarten and provides your child with a strong foundation for school success.
