May 8 - Devotion and Announcements
Devotion for Friday, May 8
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
On Day #5 of VIRTUAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK, let’s give thanks to God for Pastor Klemm, our administrative and office staff, our support group, and Peace congregation! Behind every teacher and student is our own team of prayer warriors and servant leaders.
Our fantastic school exists because of the mission of our church, “REACHING OUT TO HELP PEOPLE EXPERIENCE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST”. Peace Lutheran Congregation is in full support of Christian Education and devoted to maintaining its Lutheran School because it brings children to the Lord. At Peace, boys and girls spend every day with Jesus, learning about Him and growing up in Him: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. Because of the congregation’s commitment, thousands of children through the years have come to know and love Jesus, to trust in Him, and to live with Him for life and for eternity.
The dedicated people on our administrative and office team and in our support group care for the day-to-day needs of students and families, teachers and staff, visitors and guests. They spread God’s joy, they share His mercy, and they practice grace. They care for our school and its facility with which God has blessed us. They teach the children about what it means to be a child of God through the words they say and the care they give. They complete the school community that partners with families to bring up children in the Lord.
Today, we close VIRTUAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK. This has been a special week of special recognition, but EVERY week is a part of God’s blessing in the history of Peace Lutheran School and in your lifetime here.
Thank you, Pastor Klemm, administrative and office team, support staff, service group, and Peace Lutheran Congregation! You are appreciated and loved!

We praise You because You have upheld and guided Christian Education at Peace Lutheran School through many years. Thank you for all the people dedicated to our school, its children, and their families. Please bless Peace Lutheran School in all the years to come. Amen.

Unashamed! Romans 1:16 reminds us of this - “I am not ashamed of the Good News about Jesus, because it is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.” The Good News about Jesus is for you every day!
Peace family and friends, please remember who you are and whose you are. You are God’s special, beloved children. Have a wonderful day in the Lord.
Love from Jesus and us,
Mrs. Stathakis and Mrs. Quail
