May 4 - Devotion and Announcements
Devotion for Monday, May 4
“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.” Ephesians 1:15-17
It’s VIRTUAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! This week, we are praising God for all of the terrific people who have been called by God to make Peace Lutheran School a very special place, and we’ll get to show appreciation in unique and fun ways.
Today, let’s give thanks for our preschool and latchkey staff, a group of amazing ladies dedicated to serving families and loving children as they serve and love the Lord! In many creative and beautiful ways, our preschool teachers and staff joyfully introduce our young boys and girls to the world of school.
Every day our preschool teachers offer interesting lessons and delightful activities for the development of a preschooler’s mind and body, and of even greater importance is their concern for the soul of each child. The foremost purpose of their teaching is to bring little ones to Jesus. Jesus invites children to come to Him! “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Thank you, preschool and latchkey staff! You are appreciated and loved!

You are awesome, and You do great things for us! Thank you for the gift of our preschool and latchkey staff, and thank you for calling them to care for the children at Peace. Amen.
Announcements for Monday, May 4
Hello, Peace Lutheran School Students, Families, and Staff!
Today is Monday, May 4, 2020, and this is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
It’s DAY #1 of VIRTUAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!
(Please read and watch today’s devotion and refer to the list of daily virtual activities.)
Unashamed! Romans 1:16 reminds us of this - “I am not ashamed of the Good News about Jesus, because it is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.” The Good News about Jesus is for you every day!
Peace family and friends, please remember who you are and whose you are. You are God’s special, beloved children. Have a wonderful day in the Lord.
Love from Jesus and us,
Mrs. Stathakis and Mrs. Quail
