Hello from Thailand! It's hard to believe that we have already completed our first seven weeks of mission. It has been an exciting time, full of adventure, challenges, and fruitfulness.
We arrived in Thailand and hit the ground running, having the first worship service in the new building the night of our arrival. Since then, we have seen the Lord draw many university students to our community, awakening hunger in their hearts for Christ. We are excited!
One girl that I am particularly excited about is a second year university student named Nan. Having a Buddhist background and no knowledge of Jesus before a few months ago, she now has a living faith in Christ and is hungry to know her Father in heaven. She is a passionate worshiper!
In addition, we have been teaching at a nearby elementary school full-time, which has been an amazing ministry of its own. Every day we go to work among unreached peoples and have been able to develop relationships with students and teachers, releasing His love as we teach the ABCs and sing silly songs with the precious children. We know that God is drawing people to Himself there, and we are eager to see all that He will do!
Our heart cry is that the Lamb would receive the reward of His suffering in Thailand, that His Spirit would be poured out on His Church, that the gospel seeds that have been sewn would spring forth, and that many people would be saved. We believe that Thailand has entered into a new season of harvest, and we are expecting God to do beautiful things in our midst.
1. That God's Spirit would move on a local university campus to the saving of many souls.
2. That the many new students that are now part of our community would experience the love of God and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord.
3. That God would pour out the spirit of evangelism in our midst and that we would be effective harvesters.
4. That the church in Thailand as a whole would be revived and strengthened to carry the Gospel to it's own people and the surrounding nations.
Thank you for your loving support and prayers as we serve Him here!
